Bergmann 医師は、1976 年にアルツェナウ / 下部フランケン地方に生まれました。医師はフランクフルトとミュンヘンで医学を学び、ミュンヘンのマックス・プランク研究所で博士論文を執筆し博士号を修めました。その後スウェーデンのリンシェーピングにある頭頚部腫瘍センターで臨床研修医、米国ピッツバーグ大学がん研究所で研究研修医を務めました。エッセン大学病院の耳鼻咽頭クリニックにおいて専門研修を受け上級医を務めました。医師は、2015 年から 2020 年にかけてエッセンにある HNO Praxis Ruhr 地域共同診療所のパートナーを務め、2021 年以降 RKM740 クリニックの耳鼻咽頭保存・外科療法科を引き継ぎました。
